Wooden gates must be exceptionally well-made to withstand the forces and stresses of automation. With this in mind, we carefully fabricate our timber gates and always have a minimum finished thickness of 65mm.

Premium Hardwood for Longevity

We manufacture timber gates from either classic Oak or one of two hardwoods, Iroko or Sapele, and finish all our timber gates with three coats of teak oil, as standard, ensuring extra longevity.

For painted gates we use Accoya wood, which is rot-resistant and stable across varying weather conditions. The Accoya wood is spray finished for ultimate durability.

At Wentworth Gates, we chose Iroko and Sapele for our premier range of timber gates. These are recognised as two of the world’s most durable woods. They have a low shrinkage factor and good natural resistance to moisture and decay. Both types of wood are excellent for high-quality, automatic wooden gates that withstand unpredictable British weather.

Design and Functionality

We make our wooden gates to measure, so we can replicate and fabricate any gate you desire. We only work with premium products and major brand gate automation companies. These include Beninca, FAAC, Came, Nice, BFT, Roger Technology, Hikvision, DoorBird, AES and Videx. These choices ensure the quality and standard of automation match the premium timber we select. Finally, we can supply our timber gates with Access Control, Gate Furniture and CCTV.
