Gate Repair and Maintenance Services

Wentworth Rapid Response (WRR)

We can assist you with our Rapid Response service, to cover unexpected breakdowns, vandalism or other eventualities.

We endeavour to resolve any issues within the first hour. Should you require parts, we will quote accordingly before carrying out any work.

Wentworth Scheduled Servicing (WSS)

We carry out a six-monthly scheduled 10 Point Maintenance Check as part of a Maintenance Contract that runs from 1–3 years.

This Contract ensures continued safety, continued efficiency and continued performance. It reduces the risk of breakdown and increases the longevity of your gates.

Prevention is always better than cure!

Servicing Check List

  • Safety of gate.
  • Hinge condition.
  • Pivots lubricated.
  • Manual release lubricated.
  • Motors cleaned and lubricated.
  • Check soak aways are working.
  • Check settings and reconfigure where necessary.
  • Check accessories are fixed in enclosure.
  • Check wiring and connections.
  • Check all features are working loops – access control – lighting, etc.
  • Change batteries in wireless transmitters if applicable.
  • Re seal all components.

Urgent Gate Repairs

To book an Engineer’s visit we require the call out charge (detailed below) to be paid in full.

Payment can be made over the phone by Credit/Debit Card or you can pay the Engineer by Cheque. All Prices Are Plus VAT @ 20%.

Monday to Friday

8am – 5pm

£170 plus VAT for the first hour and £100 plus VAT per hour thereafter

Monday to Friday

5pm – 8am

£250 plus VAT for the first hour and £100 plus VAT per hour thereafter

Weekends and Bank Holidays

£250 plus VAT for the first hour and £100 plus VAT per hour thereafter

The Wentworth Gates Maintenance Contract

Regular Maintenance undertaken by qualified technicians is the key to your automatic gate’s longevity.

Maintenance Contracts run for either one year or three years. All contracts are subject to a site visit to inspect your gates and assess the general health of the Automation, Access Control etc.

Your Contract covers you for three non-chargeable callouts per year. We issue a quote before proceeding with any gate repair and maintenance services if parts are required due to a callout.

Generally, your Annual Maintenance Check is approximately six months following the initial inspection visit. The inspection visit will include the following checks:

• Check torque on the gate is set to the manufacturer’s recommended safety levels
• Check and fill the lubrication as necessary
• Check and lubricate the arm fixing
• Check the underground foundation box and drainage
• Check all the welds for potential fractures
• Check electronic control box seal for leaks

Maintenance Package

One Gate Entrance

£650 plus VAT per annum

Parts will be charged at Trade Prices for everyone who commits to a 3 year maintenance contract.

This equates to a 20% discount off all mechanical and electrical parts during the entire term of your contract.
