We used Wentworth Gates to provide aluminium gates for our new house. We visited their workshop to see the different styles and understand the options. David and his team were knowledgeable and professional and showed us lots of different options and colours and we were even able to look at David’s own gates! They expedited our order as they understood how important it was for us to put the gates in as soon as possible as our new house is on a busy road and we have a toddler and dog. The team fitted the mechanism and gates very quickly and his team are incredibly hardworking and professional. They worked long days in all weathers (literally pouring rain all day one day!) in order to complete the job quickly. I contacted numerous gate installation companies after a traffic accident demolished two brick pillars and large electric sliding gate at my property.
Wentworth gates appeared to not only be the most efficient at responding, visiting and quoting, but they also directly employ all of their own staff (labourers, metal workers, electrics, gate engineers, office manager)
The work involved demolishing the existing pillars, digging out very deep foundations for the new pillars, rebuilding the brick work with yellow/old stock bricks to match the property, taking the very large gates away, having them shot blasted, repaired and re-powder coated,
Reinstating the gates and new motor, whilst ensuring the new sensors and anti crush bars are hard wired in rather than relying on batteries.
The end result of their workmanship is absolutely first class.
Their attention to detail with regards to the brickwork, metal work and materials is exceptional.

I discovered Wentworth Gates through their sister company Wentworth Steel as I was looking for a fabricator to construct my steel gate.

Love our new gates. They're so quick to open, and look fabulous. The guys fitting them were lovely, and got the gates up in the snow and freezing conditions. Highly recommend.

We engaged Wentworth Gates for our new gates after a couple of telephone calls with Mr. David Bell. At every stage of the process from consultation to post installation, David and his team were consummate professionals. In this case David and his entire team at Wentworth Gates fully justify the highest possible rating for their efforts at all stages of the process from initial contact to final handover. All appointments were met on time; all queries were answered promptly and effectively; advice on all aspects of the gates and the associated electronics was clear and helpful; everyone involved was polite and friendly; and the final product and installation were exactly as promised and completed on time, with little touches such as laying a short stretch of paving to my new pedestrian gate thrown in with no suggestion of an extra charge. From the outset I found this company totally professional and attentive. Mr David Bell clearly displays a passion for his business which showed itself consistently and throughout our time dealing with this installation. I have no hesitation in recommending this company, in fact I have already done so on two occasions recently.
Rather than replace our existing gates and brick gate posts (that hadn't worked for the last 8 years!), Wentworth Gate were very happy to clean up the existing bricks and repoint the gate posts. Our old gates were taken away to be shot blasted and recoated and with a new electronic mechanism installed they look and work like brand new ones, for a considerably lower price than replacing the whole lot.
Wentworth Gates then returned to resurface the drive with resin, including increasing the size of the existing drive, replacing the edging stones and installing new lights.
David and his team were great from the start, with good communication and attention to detail. They were hard working and polite and I would definitely recommend them.

Wentworth Gates replaced my fence, front wall, re-surfaced my drive with resin, including putting in edging stones and lighting and installed remote control wooden gates. So it was a significant piece of work. I was delighted with all aspects, and still am. The work was completed with real care, craftsmanship and attention to detail, with good communication throughout. And everything still works.
